Job summary

Familiar with a variety of strategies, tactics and how marketing technology enable the business, the Digital Marketing Lead will drive projects and marketing programs for the agency clients. The successful candidate must have the ability to capture and inspire clients with his or her ideas and technical expertise.  

Key Responsibilities

25% - Digital Marketing Strategy:

  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to clients based on industry trends and best practices
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to develop data-driven insights
  • Collaborate with clients to define their digital marketing goals and objectives
  • Develop and present comprehensive digital marketing strategies enabled by digital tech
  • Collaborate closely with agency resources for design and content creation to create compelling digital assets for campaigns.

50% - Digital Marketing Technology Consulting:

  • Understanding how the tech functionality can enable the client’s success:some text
    • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
    • Marketing Automation Platforms (MAP)
    • Partner Relationship Management (PRM)
    • Partner Marketing Management (PMM)
  • Prepare requirements for the team to implement. 
  • Manage and execute digital marketing technology implementation using agency resources internally and externally‍
  • Stay up to date with the latest features and functionality of the software vendors

25% - Client Services / Project Management:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Understand the client Scope of Work and what we must deliver
  • Communicate project status and updates to clients and internal teams.
  • Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during project execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Soft Skills:

  • Understanding how marketing teams in corporations work but wanting to work in agency environment
  • Ability to present via screen sharing and explain concepts to new users
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal over the virtual meetings
  • Exceptional project management and time management abilities.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Teamwork and virtual collaboration skills 
  • Ability to work remotely and maintain a professional home office environment 

Tech Skills:

Ideally all of these, but experience with only a few is enough:

  • Proficiency in Marketing Tools such as Email Marketing Automation (HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo)
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) e.g. Salesforce CRM or Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Familiarity with Google Workspaces for work management
  • Knowledge of project management tools like Asana, Trello or BaseCamp
  • Knowledge of time tracking software and timesheets to accurate report time worked

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, IT or a related field
  • Digital marketing certifications and willingness to learn more

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing.
  • Proven track record of successful digital marketing campaign execution.
  • Experience in client services and project management in a marketing agency setting is a plus.
